I created this brand during a time when I had to rebuild my life from the ground up. I wanted a space where my creativity could live, all of it, without limits or labels. This isn’t just a store or a website. It’s my home base. My starting point. My reminder that joy is something we create for ourselves, day by day.
Kei To Happiness is where I share the things I make with love, my books, my cookbooks, my scripts, my ideas, and whatever else this journey inspires. It’s a place for dreamers, for creators, and for anyone else finding their way back to themselves.

My Story
Ta’Keisha “Kei” LaShawn is a writer, chef, creator, and visionary storyteller building a world where authenticity and creativity are the keys to joy. As the founder of Kei To Happiness, Kei uses her voice, her imagination, and her lived experiences to create work that inspires, empowers, and connects.
Her debut children’s book, Different Together, highlights the beauty of individuality and the power of family, themes that continue to shape her work across genres. Kei is also developing original scripted projects for television, including a contemporary dramedy inspired by the classic series Sister, Sister, and plans to expand her catalog to include cookbooks, lifestyle products, and branded merchandise.
Kei To Happiness serves as the home for all of Kei’s creative ventures, a brand rooted in authenticity, purpose, and the belief that happiness is something we create for ourselves.
